Very pleaseda little hard getting on the first and second time, though. The leather can bend a bit when trying to get on so a shoe horn may be necessary until the boots are broken in. Very comfortable and cute with light or dark gray shirts and jeans. Must be careful with staining because the nubuck on the light gray boots can get dirty easily and can be hard to wash off. Use a nubuck stain guard leather spray or waterproofer on any nubuck Hasbeens before wearing in case you spill something on them which I did once and had to restain the shoes from light green to brown.

This is my third pair of hasbeens, one pair I ordered directly from sweeden. This pair the leather was so stiff, I knew when I took them out of the box they were different than the other two boots I have. I struggled to get it on my foot, tried a shoe horn, just not worth it to me. I ordered a larger size.......a size that I have never worn in my life, but I am going to give it a try. I think this particular pair runs a little small. I love hasbeens that's why I am going to try another size. The other two hasbeens I own were uncomfortable the first day but got increasingly more comfortable with each wear.

ok the larger size came and I still can't get my foot into it. Something is definitely wrong with this shoe and when I took the shoe out of the box it actually looked like a nine and not a size 10. Something is off with the sizing. oh well sad because this is an adorable shoe.

I'm giving it two stars because I do like the way they look. But please be warned, these boots are SO uncomforatable. They literally make my ankles and my inner ankles (not sure what that bone is called) bleed every time I wear them.

bought the red and love it. my feet felt pretty good after walking in these for about 6 hours. i could see how the wooden heel could get damaged, but i believe if you follow SH recommendations about rubbing a little olive oil in them, it wouldn't be an issue.
