I just got these boots, and have only worn them twice, but I love them. They are so comfy and keep my feet really warm and dry. I live in Michigan, and so far it looks like we'll be getting an average winter. Temperatures have already dropped, and snow flakes have been spotted. I'm a college student where the campus is quite large, and each of my classes are located in a different buildings. Last year I used Bearpaw "Ugg" type boots. They didn't cut it, and they also wore out pretty quickly. These boots, I have no doubt in my mind, will keep my feet warm and dry. My first day wearing them it was raining hard, and they handled the puddles. They are cute to look at too. While not as "vintage" and "hipster-y" as L.L. Bean boots, these have similarities. I tuck my jeggings into them and off I go. Now, the sizing scared me, because other reviewers said they run small. That wasn't the case for me, they are true to size, perhaps a little big. See, I wear a size 7 normally, but I always order size 8 in boots so I can wear sweater socks. I ordered a 8 in the Jossi boot, and they are perfect. Even with sweater socks, I've got some room, but not too much. And my feet are pretty narrow, might I add. The price for these boots was AMAZING. Thank you Amazon. $60 comparable to other sites where prices were between $120-140. The only reason I'm giving these boots a 4 out 5 is because they are a bit heavy. By the end of the day my front calve muscles are a bit achy. Which, I don't really mind because anytime I get a chance to work out my muscles, I'll take it. And I figure this is something I will get used to, because I plan on living in these boots for the rest of the winter. But keep in mind, I wear these boots all day, and I do a lot of walking. If you're only slipping these on to protect your feet from snow, the weight of these boots shouldn't really give you a problem. I hope this review helped!

The boots look nice, appear to be well made, and are nicely insulated inside. However, they are about half a size too short. When I buy regular shoes I get 7.5 and I get size 8 for boots since I wear them with thick socks. However, these size 8s are so short that my big toe bumps up against the front. Irritating but not enough to send them back. Just a warning buy them a full size up from your normal shoe size!Buy Tretorn Women's Jossi Winter Boot Now

I ordered this boot and the Asperlin boot since i couldn't decide between the two heights and they were on cyber monday sale. I decided i liked the taller version better anyways, but also noticed that the Jossi boot seemed to be cut smaller than the Asperlin I got them both in a 6, and while the Asperlin fit perfectly the Jossie was kind of short not tight, but my toes were butting up against the front of the shoe even when sitting. Maybe order up a half size, especially if you plan on wearing thicker socks.I really do love this boot. I am usually between a size 6 and a 6.5, and after reading the reviews I ordered a size 7. They work just fine with a thick pair of socks, but a 6.5 probably would have fit better. They're a bit clunky, but i've worn them in the rain and snow and they've kept my feet perfectly dry and exceptionally warm (even when i'm not wearing a very thick sock). I expect that these boots will last too. Definitely worth the price.
