Great shoe. For me Nike shoes run narrow so I sized up a half size and I'm glad I did. I wear them primarily with skinny jeans a little casual for skirts IMO. I live in rainy old Portland so these are quickly becoming my go to boots on a near regular basis.

I usually buy my boots for the style more so than comfort, which is why I was really pleased when first putting these on. These boots actually feel like sneakers when you wear them. Unlike chunky, clunky boots, these almost feels like you're walking on little pillows. Also they're quite light weight which makes them even better. My one concern when buying these shoes was that the size said 38/7-7.5. I'm usually a size 38 in boots which often translates to size 8 so I was wondering if the 7-7.5 would be too small. I would say these fit more like a 7.5-8 which is perfect for my size feet.

these shoes fit me really wellI have relatively narrow feet, but they (unlike most shoes) hug my feet perfectly. the soles aren't the most supportive, but they are very sturdy and soft. I was looking for a good, "go to", flat, black boot, with a great sole and some detail to wear with jeans, leggings, or tights. Most of all, I was looking for comfort. I normally wear a 7.5 or 8 and was worried whether they would fit or not as I had tried the ECCO Hobart Harness Ankle Boots, but they ran a bit smaller and the 38 was too small. These, however, run more true to a 38. The only reason that I didn't give them a 5-star rating is that the pull-on is a pain I have been wearing them for a few weeks now and they are getting easier to pull on and off! These are comfortable, durable flat boots. I have both colors now. Great with skinny jeans, under any kinds of pants, or with tights and a skirt!

It's exactly what is says it is. They're a costume boot. I have no complaints in that department. On the other hand, if you're not looking to buy a set of boots that you're only going to be able to wear for a little while then... *funny hand wave* "These aren't the boots you're looking for." .... Overall they only have one major fault, the soles are made of cruddy material. They'll only last you a couple months of everyday wear before they start falling apart and getting huge holes in the sole. If you don't mind getting them resoled on the other hand (which can be expensive), then these are kinda neat.the box was damaged... but this product have very good quality and very brightness color. i love it and all it is perfect in it. thank you very much!

I own these in the Coffee Bean color in a size 7.5 (usually wear an 8 but it wasn't available at the time of purchase) and the fit is perfect; I even have room to wiggle my toes (I have a narrow foot AA). Boots feel substantial and you can tell they are good quality. I like the contrast of the suede upper against the leather shaft. I have fairly skinny legs (the circumerence of my calves is 12.75") and I was able to tuck my jeans inside these boots with no problem. My only complaint is the slight discomfort in the heel area (you can almost feel the top of the heel through the bottom of the footbed); otherwise, I'd given these a 5 star rating instead of only 4 stars.

I always have trouble finding an arch that is high enough and in the right spot on my foot these are it, so comfy! However, they run really large. I usually wear an 8.5-9, and I have these in a 7.5, which I wear with thick socks. I have 14-inch calves and 9-inch ankles. These pull on boots are perfect to go over skinny jeans. They take a little wiggling to get on without a full length zipper, but it's better than having big fat cankles. I'd rather have a slim ankle that I have to take an extra few seconds for. These are great boots. I normally wear a 7, sometimes a 7 1/2 if the boot runs small. These don't run small.I had to get a 7 1/2 because they didn't have a 7 and it is a little big but I love them enough to wear a thick sock with them. It's the beautiful classic black boot I've been looking for only problem is that it's very tight and narrow I am a 6M generally and needed this in a 6 1/2 Wide to feel comfortable. They arrived today and appeared to be too small, but when I put them on (with stockings) they fit me perfectly. I ordered a half size above my usual coz boots always seem to be smaller on me. Beware if you have large calves they'll be way too tight. These will be perfect with skirts for me and I can just squeeze the zip enough to fit over my skinny jeans. I'm 5'6" and they sit an inch below my knee cap, just what I wanted. They feel very luxurious and extremely comfortable for such a high heel. I couldn't be happier.

Got my boots today!! These are exactly as described. I ordered one size up(As mentioned in one of the reviews) and it perfectly goes with thick socks.The straps are adjustable. Love it!Delivery was on the same date they estimated (at 5.40 PM)!

These are exactly what I was looking for. They are well made and constructed, will last a long time. The size fits just right, maybe slightly on the larger size. They are comfortable, I can walk around campus in them all day and my feet are still happy. I got the taupe color, which is more of a slate gray but is very versatile. As I've been buying and reviewing boots left and right this season and need to reign myself in, these very budget-friendly and well reviewed Chinese Laundry pair caught my eye. They turned out to be keepers but just barely...First, the faux material is REALLY well done, as the other reviewers vouch. I was very impressed and you simply cannot tell these aren't the real thing. And I'm a bit of a leather snob. So big points there. The hardware is great too--not cheap or too shiny. The slight heel offers a bit of a boost while still remaining a nice flat boot. The shaft height is tall/wide enough to tuck leggings into, a look as of winter 2012 I'm still digging.
However, I clearly got a fluke pair or my foot has shrunk overnight because these were swimming on me! I ordered in my standard size (I'm between 8.5 and 9 and ordered in 8.5) and they are gigantic. Had I heeded other reviews and ordered up, I definitely wouldn't be able to keep them. Way too big and wide. I can wear Bootights (hose w/a footed sock attached) AND knee socks over those and STILL have room to spare!
I have a very low, flat in-step; I don't seek out zippered boots because I can shove my dogs into just about any boot. Perhaps due to dinky ankles and a low in-step, these positively gape at my ankle. They have a rain galoshes look on my foot. Very generously cut and no other boots I've recently purchased fit like this. In length they're more TTS, but in width and shaft, they seem tremendously bulky. If they fit more snugly at the ankle, they'd be flattering; as it stands, I wish I could cinch them with a rubber band or something-there's that much 'extra' material.
Another small issue I have is the toe. The description says it's rounded, but ladies, this is not a true round toe boot (look for two boots I love that do have a genuinely rounded toe: Kickers in "Trestep"and Betsey Johnson in "Ariss"). So I wasn't thrilled with the slightly pointier toe as I wasn't expecting it. Nothing extreme, but not the rounded silhouette I prefer.
The color I chose is the Taupe; it reads grey tho. Unless you actually pair it with a true grey and then, not so much. But w/ my black clothes it can easily pass for grey. So if you're after a true neutral brownish taupe, be warned.
Because they were so affordable, and due to the impressive man made leather, I'm keeping them. Even tho they're too big, they're still comfy. They don't clomp when you walk and they'll definitely prove hardy in precipitation. But unless you have a high in-step and wider foot, I would recommend ordering in your normal size or even 1/2 size down, not up!

I love boots, and have 5 pair, and these are my favorite. They are...the best! I love EVERY THING about them. The fit is comfortable, and really holds my ankle...which makes me feel real secure when I walk. I love the heel height, and the fact that the heel is made of rubber..as it has a little give...and doesn't...click, click, click. The suede at the top gives the boot a real classy look too. I have been searching for warm comfortable booties for my wife Carol for some time now and when I found these on Amazon they fitted the bill.
They come up to mid calf for extra warmth. The bottoms are slip resistant. This is important as she had polio as a child and has post polio syndrome now. Her balance has been affected so these slippers provide and extra measure of safety.
On plane flights and long car rides they give her comfort
They are washable. She wears them every day and has recommended them to her friends.

I have worn Sierra Designs down booties for at least the last 5 years now. I live in a basement apartment in Chicago so the floors are like ice. The old 'Men's' style booties are comfy and thick. With a pair of polar fleece socks they actually keep my feet warm.I got these booties because they are a nice color(radish) and because they come up higher on the calf. I'm always joking that I'm going to put on a down suit in November and not take it off again until April so a couple extra inches in height seemed like a great idea. The problem is that they are not nearly as thick as the other style. They look slightly less goofy on but if my feet aren't warm then I just don't care.
I'm sending these back and getting a pair of the men's style booties that I know are reliably warm.

These pack down small, and kept my feet toasty when all my fellow campers were shivering and complaining of icy feet. They are super-soft yet sturdy enough to walk on concrete and over rougher terrain. I would not be surprised to find that when people go to Heaven these are standard issue upon arrival. Also they arrived fast despite being shipped from outside Amazon.

These boots had no review when I bought them, but I saw Hottopic was selling the same boots but they were sold out of them, so I took a chance and got these boots. Well worth it! They do run a little big, but I think that is because they are no designed to be tight around your feet. They fit perfectly on your legs and they are not super tight on your legs like some combat boots can be, but they are not loose they just fit right. I am 3ft and 5 inches, and 150 pounds if you need an idea. The boots came in around a week, so not much of a wait and I was, so happy when I held them in person and saw that the studs were solid and really on the boots, they are not cheap and flimsy, but real studs. And the boots are so flexible in material and they don't look cheap and they feel nice on. Awesome quality boots and if you are having a hard time deciding I suggest you give them a chance.

I was really disappointed to find only one review on this boot, and that one was very lacking in detail. I actually purchased the all-leather Haddie boot in camel, but figure they are probably all made the same, so hopefully this will help others who are trying to decide whether or not to try this boot. I was really concerned about the color, because it looked quite a bit lighter on some sites than others, but it is a beautiful, perfect camel color. Not too light or too dark. One site said the boot runs small, so size up and another site reported to order usual size as it runs true to size. What I would say about that is this: if you are between sizes, definitely order up. I typically always wear a 6 in every kind of footwear, so I went with my usual size and am glad I did. They are a bit snug with thicker socks, but I am ok with that. I think they will loosen up with some wear, and I want to be able to wear tights with them without my foot slipping out. The ankle is little wider due to the fact that it is a slip on (no zipper). I am also on the shorter side (5'3") and was concerned about where on my legs these boots would hit. They fall about 2 inches below my knee, or thereabouts. The perfect height, in my opinion. The leather is amazingly soft. I hope they don't end up bunching too much in the ankles due to the softness of the leather. I was also slightly worried about the circumference of the boot, as I have small calves (13"). These boots give just the right amount of room--a small gap, which I like. They are definitely sleek, more form-fitting boots, but will accommodate skinny jeans. I wasn't sure how I would feel about the black sole, but you don't even notice it. I hope these boots hold up well because I spent significantly more on them than I would normally spend on a boot, but I couldn't find what I was looking for after months of searching. So I caved...and bought them sight-unseen on a final sale. YIKES. So glad my initial reaction to them was a good one. If you've been looking at these boots, I say GO FOR IT!
UPDATE: After wearing these boots for an entire day, I say SIZE UP!! My usual size is too snug. What a pricey mistake for me. Sure hope this review prevents someone else from making the same!

My boots came today! Yes, I like these a lot, and the circumference of the opening was a good fit for my calf (which I think is an average sized calf...). The toes of the two boots are kind of different: one is rounded, and the other is slightly pointy, which is actually really annoying, considering the tag says "high quality, handmade", etc.Also, I saw that other reviews said that the lining kind of sheds, and I do agree that it does. It's the synthetic stuff that a lot of stuffed animals are made out of I think, and it does shed rather easily. However, it does make the rain boot cozier.

I ordered these to replace a boot that was taller but would not fit around my calves. These fit but are not as comfortable as i would like. No arch support and the fur keeps falling off. I usually wear a 10 so ordered and 11 and still seemed to run small. Also because they are shorter the mud that is kicked up when you walk hits you on the back of the leg and dirt and gravel fall into the back of the boot if you wear them with out pants. I bought these boots a few weeks ago after I moved to Wales, UK. It rains a lot here off and on and now that winter's coming I'm expecting snow. These boots are warm, because of the fur lining. They're comfortable (me being a bigger girl I wanted to make sure they'd fit around my mid calf. Because they're not so high they fit perfectly). They are a little heavy but not enough to bother me. They're waterproof though! They keep my feet warm and dry and because I got the black ones they match everything. Also, on the top there's a white strip that's actually the reflective band type that can be seen in the dark. The boots are nice but they're not as good as I expected. Actually, the fur inside the boots are coming off really REALLY easily. The first time I'd try them, there was fur all over the bottom of my jeans.. But it's really the only negative point of this product.
