These are very nice for the money...lightweight and best for dry and milder weather,but this is just what I wanted them for. A luscious deep purple , true to the photo ( and it doesn't hurt that they match the item I wanted to wear them with perfectly)! I usually wear a 7 just for toe room due to foot issues( or 6.5 wide if available) but took a chance on these because of the moccasin style and they are perfect. The fringe is very long and swings...but could easily be trimmed if it bothers you. I love them!

Those Canadians sure can make winter boots! I have an old pair I purchased through the long gone JC Penney catalog and they are so old I honestly can't remember when I bought them! They are 20+ years old and still going strong! The only casualty of age were the felt liners! I love my boots and they never go out of style! I'll send you a photo if you'd like lol So I just had to find new liners! In searching for replacements, I found these "innerboots" to be perfect! The price was very resonable, they slid right into my boots with ease and they keep my feet toasty warm! Time will tell if they hold up as long as these boots do, but for now I'm completely satisfied with them!

Well, I wanted to order the Burgundy, but after waiting for 3-ish weeks, they never had them in my size. I liked the black just as well and decided to purchase those instead.
Ordered: Black Thundra, size 10
I just got this product today. It arrived on time, although it took them a few days to get the product on the road. Shipping was pretty standard; shoe box inside of shipping box. The shoe box was wedged tightly inside the shipping box with no extra packaging. The shoe box looked a little worn, but the boots inside were fine. Packaging inside the shoe box itself consisted of a few sheets of thick tissue paper wrapped around the boots and tissues packed into the toe to keep it's shape. There were cardboard inserts along the leg of the boot to help them stand on their own.
The boots look exactly like the picture, so I was very pleased with that. They seem sturdy enough for polyurethane 'fabric'. The tops of the boots hit just under my knee, which is perfect. The stitching and seeming on the boots looks secure and over all, the boots seem to be well made.
Upon pulling them on, I found out three things:
1) you'll have to unlace them, zip them, then relace them for a proper fit
2) there is little to no padding in the sole of the shoe
3) they run on the small side.
I fit a size 10 in just about every shoe I've ever put on, so I don't generally have issues with ordering online. These fit more like a 9 1/2 than a 10. They're also narrow in the toe. I have a slender foot, but my toes are pretty tight in these boots. If you have a wide foot, there's no way this will work for you.
I also want to note that the zippers along the inside thigh of the shoe are rather stiff (I hope they loosen over time) and if your shoe isn't laced right (meaning they are laced too tightly), the zipper will give and mis-align. They didn't break, they just... came unhinged. So I can't stress enough to lace them properly (not too tightly) before wearing them out. The zipper doesn't appear to be warped or damaged in any way because of my shenanigans (good zipper, even if it is plastic).
After walking in them for a bit, they seem to give a little, but I think for them to fit comfortably, I'll have to wear them a lot. Thankfully I have months to break them in before the actual event I plan to wear them to. I did notice that although the tongue of the shoe is loose (only attached at the toe) I didn't have any problems with it sliding around or slipping down on me, which was great. I hate a shoe that's good in every way expect the tongue slouches.
Over all I'm pleased with these boots. I got what I paid for (with the exception of the sizing). I would recommend the manufacturer put a touch more padding in the sole of the shoe, as that would make it more comfortable and the wear-ability would be much longer.
I will say this: if you have trouble finding knee high boots you can wear because your calf is a little on the larger side, you'll probably be able to get into these. Because of the buckles and lacing, you have the ability to get a rather perfect fit with these.
Four stars only because of the sizing not being quite right.

I ordered these boots in the mustard color. They arrived nicely packed and timely. The fit is very true to size. They are lovely on the foot, but, unfortunately, after two wears, I noticed that the two of the rivets had fallen out. Totally ruined the look of the boot. These boots look great, but be aware that they are made of plastic, not leather. I got these boots in the burgundy or "oxblood" color and I LOVE them. I get compliments every time I wear them and they are amazingly comfortable! I ordered up a half size from my usual because I read that they run small, and it is just perfect. The laces allow you to adjust the boot so that they zip comfortably, even over large calves (I always have problems fitting my calves into knee-height boots). They are properly steampunk no silly non-functioning gears! and can dress up or down. I bought these to wear with a Steampunk costume and am very pleased to say that they are definitely "wearable" with street clothes as well. They are both comfortable and stylish, and pack an impact with a shorter skirt. Love these!

Just received my new boots yesterday. I have been lusting over these for months, however, my husband said I needed another pair of boots like I needed a hole in my head...which is technically true...but I am a boot freak..ultimately I had to have them. These did not disappoint! I would never wear a cowboy boot, but I do love the slightly western flair of these boots-the heel and the shape at the top give it the western feel, but the zipper, buckles and lug sole give it a fun, funky, eclectic look. The buckles/straps do come off and the boot looks more streamlined without them. The quality and craftsmanship of the shoe is very nice (they are made in Italy), and they are very comfortable. I have done a lot of walking and standing in them today. The fit is very true to size. I almost always wear a 39 in Italian made shoes and the 39 fits like a glove. I wore them with the buckles/straps on the boots today with skinny jeans and received lots of compliments, but I think they would be fun with a short dress. I work for a company that sells fire trucks and I went for a field trip with some of the guys to test a pump on a truck...water was spraying everywhere...I am not going to go so far as to say they are waterproof, but the water was beading up on the leather and my feet stayed dry despite the fact that we were flowing 1500 gallons of water a minute, plus there is not a water mark on my boots anywhere! Fashionable and functional...what more could you ask from a boot.

I like these boots they're high but still comfortable; easy to walk in. I do feel a bit like I have my 'spurs' on with the jingle! but I could take the straps off and haven't tried that yet.they do look quite 'distressed' upon arrival but I don't mind that and they're nicely leather lined ie good quality.

I was looking for high-heeled gladiator sandals or bootie, and thought this style might accommodate my both goals. When I visited (...) and checked their style book, there were several models in similar clothes that I have, or really like, and it instantly clicked me! Plus I had one pair of Maxstudio high heels, which I really enjoy wearing (really comfortable though they are 4-inch high with mostly no platform!). I am between 7 and 7 1/2, but since the one I already have is in size 7 (and fits me perfectly) I ordered size 7.
Well, I just received the pair yesterday, and I LOVE it!!! Like the one before, it fits me well, and although my ankles are pretty skinny (I am 5"3' and 100 lbs...usually wear size 0 or 1), because of the bootie's feature of lace-up style, the upper part looks tight enough on my legs. I have to deal with extra-long lace remaining at the top when I tied them up, but I kind of tied them around my ankle/legs and I think they look good too.
As you know, Maxstudio's shoes use extra soft leather, and this bootie is not an exception. Very comfortable, and though my sole are a bit wide around toe and thin (which is really difficult to find right sandals because most sandals get too loose on my feet), this pair does a good job in holding my feet in the right place. This is the very first time for me to order shoes on line without trying, but I am glad that I did. I ordered black one but now want to order one in brown!
Oh, I also have to mention that Amazon is actually giving us a super good deal! Other websites still sell this bootie for more than (...).

I was told when buying this product that it runs 1/2 size large, so as advised I ordered it in a 1/2 size smaller than I usually wear. I'm a size 8 1/2 and bought an 8. But the 8 1/2 would have been perfect, because the 8 is a little too small. That aside, the shoes are comfy and look good.

I normally wear a wide with and was real hesitant to order my first pair some time ago because of this. However, Dirty Laundry runs wide and fit well. I saw these canvas ones and liked that they were so different from other boots that I own. They too fit well. They are light and comfortable. The only negative comment is that the color in the picture is deceiving. The "Natural" color which I ordered, appears to be the color of a white linen but it is actually tan. When I found them on sale in a store I bought them and fell in love but they were simply too big, so I returned them and looked online for my size because the store was out. I would recommend about a half size or even a size smaller than you would normally wear. These boots have the heavy look of the traditional "combat" boots but the cloth exterior give them a lighter more feminine feel. They are comfy and in black they go with anything! These boots were very comfortable from day 1! I have a wide foot and these boots have a wide sole and can be adjusted for a tighter fit, for someone with an average foot width. I ordered a 1/2 size down and with the extra width, they were perfect. The linen look and color are just as pictured.
