I was looking for high-heeled gladiator sandals or bootie, and thought this style might accommodate my both goals. When I visited (...) and checked their style book, there were several models in similar clothes that I have, or really like, and it instantly clicked me! Plus I had one pair of Maxstudio high heels, which I really enjoy wearing (really comfortable though they are 4-inch high with mostly no platform!). I am between 7 and 7 1/2, but since the one I already have is in size 7 (and fits me perfectly) I ordered size 7.
Well, I just received the pair yesterday, and I LOVE it!!! Like the one before, it fits me well, and although my ankles are pretty skinny (I am 5"3' and 100 lbs...usually wear size 0 or 1), because of the bootie's feature of lace-up style, the upper part looks tight enough on my legs. I have to deal with extra-long lace remaining at the top when I tied them up, but I kind of tied them around my ankle/legs and I think they look good too.
As you know, Maxstudio's shoes use extra soft leather, and this bootie is not an exception. Very comfortable, and though my sole are a bit wide around toe and thin (which is really difficult to find right sandals because most sandals get too loose on my feet), this pair does a good job in holding my feet in the right place. This is the very first time for me to order shoes on line without trying, but I am glad that I did. I ordered black one but now want to order one in brown!
Oh, I also have to mention that Amazon is actually giving us a super good deal! Other websites still sell this bootie for more than (...).
