I really like these boots because they keep my feet warm. They were really tight when I first put them on, but that have loosened up after a couple of wears (I had to wear thin socks). They run small are a narrow. I usually wear a 8 or 8 1/2 but ordered a 9 after reading other reviews. I would recommend these boots for cold weather. We have been having record cold temps and my feet haven't been cold yet. Order a size or two larger than you normally would and know they do run narrow.

Great boots, I usually order 8.5 to give my toes extra space. I ordered these in 8.5 and they are perfect.

I'm 5'6" 137 and they fit perfect around my calves with jeans and socks too.

Its looks beautiful made. Perfect bottom sole to walk on icy or snow. Unfortuntely it's too narrow for me. Hope to get a wide pair.

I have owned Timberland boots in the past. However, I am not sure if the sizing has changed over the years. I didn't want to return it because the next smaller size may not have been available or if available, it could be too small. Otherwise, the quality and color are exactly what I expected.

I love Timberland boots and I love this boot, too. The thing that people need to know about Timberland is that they run narrow, not short. In fact, I usually wear a size 6 but often times, depending on the manufacturer, I have to go down to a 5.5 because the shoe runs a bit long. This is always the case with Timberland for me. However, because their shoes run narrow, I have to order a Wide width. I don't have narrow feet by any means, but I have never ever in my life worn a wide width--except for with Timberlands. So, suck up the ego about ordering a wide width and just do it, you'll be glad you did. Otherwise, just order in your normal size or go down a half size if you are in-between sizes like me. (You could just order your normal size if you plan on wearing with thick socks.)

Also, everyone should also know that the brown boot pictured here does not look anything like the color it actually is. This turned out to be great news for me because what I really wanted was an olive drab colored suede boot but I couldn't find one, so I decided to settle for this brown. Well lo and behold, it's actually olive drab! Yay for me! Not-so-yay for anyone who truly wants a brown boot. Oh, and I think another reviewer commented about how they hate the outside zip. Well, I love it. I think it gives the boot some edge and it's a cool style feature. To each his own!
