I really like these boots. I'm comfortable wearing them, the heels is sleek but obviously not too high. I used to wear stilettos all the time (on a daily basis) but now that I have two small children, wearing sky high heels just isn't practical. But with these boots, I can feel sexy and stylish without compromising my ability to chase after my kids.

I'd say these run maybe a half size small. At this heel height, I should be a size 8, but I ordered an 8.5 and they fit wella bit slim through the foot. If you have larger calves, I don't know if these would fit. The calves are snug on me and I don't typically have an issue wearing boots.

The quality of boot is nice. The stitching feels secure, well done.

Finally! A supercalifragilisticexpialidoscious boot! These are comfortable, wear-able, diverse, and of excellent quality. I can wear them any time, with anything, and all day long. The compliments have been endless. I would highly suggest oiling and treating the leather if you plan to wear them in rain or snow. Also, the linen swatch on the side of the boot adds for wonderful ventilation but may cause leakage in wet weather. Even with that, A+. :)

I purchased these as a casual low-heeled boot for the DC winters. The New Brown is not as rich as I'd like (a bit lighter and faded) but OK for a casual boot. Super soft leather on the top! Narrow through the ankles so it does not make my jeans poke out. I would not recommend them for larger calves. Mine are athletic but not thick. True to size and width for me. They almost feel like a slipper compared to my dress boots!

OK, they are such a great style. The lamb is super warm and great for winter. Also the gum soles are the most comfortable shoes ever. I wear these over my flat boots any day. I contacted the merchant about these boots before buying them, and I discovered that the boot for sale was for the Yukon style, not Vienna, which is perfectly fine with me. The boots are really comfortable and warm (they are fully lined with fur to include the footbed). They run true to size (I don't like my feet crammed in shoes....I like wiggle room, and a size 9 fits me perfectly). I only gave this boot 4 stars, though, because when I received them, there was glue stuck to the fur on the top cuff of my right boot and I had to cut it out with scissors. Not too big of a deal, but somewhat annoying. And, the glue was very obvious on black fur.

I bought these boots looking for a simple durable and cheap solution to the winter cold. I admit i probably walk more than most and these boots are not normally meant for miles in the snow but i did not expect them to fail so poorly. I liked their unassuming style which is hard to find in a warm boot, but the fabric/faux suede product is very thin, flimsy and cheap looking in person. The fit is snug at the top around the calf, and as other reviewers have mentioned, anyone with a less than thin sized calf will run into some fit issues there. The shaft itself is roomy which is in contrast to the snugness of the top, and when you try and tighten the bottom laces to make up for the excessive looseness, it looked odd and scrunched. At the back of the heel there is a hard rounded "cup" to where your heel should be, but isn't because of the length of the boot and toe roomyness, which may be my issue with buying a too big boot. But nonetheless, you would need to break that stiff cardboard with some wear before it becomes comfortable. Overall, the idea is cool, the style is interesting and worthy but the execution is lacking. I would have liked to see much more durability in the fabric choice, better fit for multiple sizes and a greater effort for a "true fit"; all of which applies whether you would wear them in the summer to bar or in the winter on a hike.

Buy Lauren Ralph Lauren Womens Quinta Boot Now

These boots look attractive in the photos on Ralph Lauren's website. However, be warned that the lining is synthetic, NOT shearling. If you pull back the fibers on the lining you will see a fabric backing. Pull a few fibers out and do a simple burn test. If you do this carefully the end of the fibers will melt into a hard and dark ball. This is what happens when you burn a synthetic fiber. If you do the same burn test with real wool, it will turn black and crumble in your hand.

The cuff is the only part of the boot that utilizes real shearling.

This was an extreme disappointment, as I expected the Ralph Lauren company to have more integrity than to misrepresent their products in this manner. When I contacted customer service to complain about the misleading ad, first they said it was authentic shearling, then after further emails, they told me it was "faux" shearling. The text of the ad and the product label that comes with the boot further suggests that the company knew what it was doing.

I doubt I will buy from the Ralph Lauren website again.

Love these boots, very warm for cold damp winters and have a classic rugged look with a little feminine style. They are a little bulky for me, but they are super cozy and make up for it. Love the shearling interior however I believe the cuff is faux but still fun. I looked them up on them up on the Ralph Lauren webpage and they only state the interior as being shearling for anyone that is curious. My only dissapointment is that shortly after purchasing these I did find them for less on other retail sites, including Ralph Lauren.
