I have not been able to wear out in the rain yet so I can not honestly say how water proof they really are. But the quality of these boots makes me believe that I will not have a problem. They do run small. Another buyers review was helpful in letting me know to order a whole size bigger. I love these boots. I have not seen anyone like them. They are stylish and sturdy. Worth the price. I am ready for April showers.

Living in downtown Montreal, there is a lot of water and melting snow. I walk in water, on purpuse, and my feet stays dry. Wow! I took the gold bands off because they are bigger than I thought. I am 50 and it looked a bit strange. I have slim legs and calves, and they fit tight.So if you have bigger calves, it wont fit you.

The interior of the boot is very soft and comfortable.
