These are very bright short boots. They are waterproof. I love the boots not sure if I still love the color it is a neon pink. If this is your only pair you may want to get black but if this is your second pair get a color. I like the shorter hunters because your legs don't sweat a lot when your in them. They do run large from.5 to a whole size. I wear a 9.5 and got a 9 and they are perfect.
