Very true to size bought 8.5. Fits great, stiff shaft that does not slouch. got the paris black it is like a gunmetal grey, had a cute blue zip detail, zipper is very chunky and sturdy doesn't catch or derail.
love the heel 3/4 inch stacked and very sturdy sole.
cute enough for shopping or work but sturdy enough for a snow walk to the car.

These boots are so cute on I can't stand it! I even love the blue zipper on the side. Everything about them is perfect to my tastes. I tend to wear an 8 8.5, leaning more towards 8.5 more times than not. So I ordered the 8.5, and when I tried them on, my feet were practically swimming in them. I loved them so much I did not want to send them back and even with my thickest socks, they still didn't fit any snugger. I did have to send them back and pay for all that shipping, which sucks but I'm waiting on my new size 8's to arrive this week. So, they seem to run a little large. I also have larger calves and most boots are ridiculously tight on me. This were very roomy, maybe a bit to roomy with the 8.5 even over jeans, and I'm hoping they are still good fitting in that area in the 1/2 size smaller. Love them though!

I just got the black/charcoal colored pair in the mail and I've been slightly dreading getting them because I thought they wouldn't fit my calves (I have 16.5 inch calves at their widest point). I noticed the measuremeant for these boots said 16 inches, so I wasn't sure if I could get them to zip up. But thankfully, if I held them together at the top and pulled them as straight as possible, they zipped up just fine. They are a very soft material with plenty of stretch. So thankfully it worked and I'm super happy. I really wanted the tan colored ones, but they just went out of having the size I needed in stock.
As to the sizing, almost everyone said to go down a half size as they run big. I usually wear size 9 or 9.5 depending on the shoe. So I went with the suggestions and ordered size 8.5. They fit great! So I definitely recommend going down at least a half size. I have medium to medium-narrow feet. If you have wide feet, then you could possibly get away with ordering your normal size. So hope this review helps those with big calves like me. Not a lot of reviews I read had people listing their calf size and then say how it fit against the boots, which is needed information.

I love these boots! Great material, well-made and super comfortable.
I settled on these boots as an everyday fall boot and I am not disappointed.
My only complaint: I am petite5'2, 110and while these boots hit in the perfect spot, just a few inches below the knee, they are quite roomy around my calves; though I have come to expect this with most boots.

I will be returning these. Honestly I'm not sure why more people haven't mentioned this I ordered the Tan Paris pair and the finish on the 'leather' is SO fake-looking! The weathering/spotted fading look just makes them scream fake leather. I don't need real leather boots by any stretch, but they ones I keep must as least possibly pass for leather. These will not, except at a long distance. I'm bummed to be returning them, as the design is super-cute. They fit my large calves, which is awesome. Maybe slightly larger than your shoe size but not problematic. Would be wonderful except for the finish. As a friend said: "if those cost $20, they'd be great. But not for $80!"
