I bought this boot and received it just before I left for a weeklong trip in Istanbul. Without time to "break them in", they were still very comfortable for all of the walking on cobblestone, uneven pavement, and up and down hills that I did all day on almost everyday. Now that I've returned, I'm looking forward to continue wearing them under my jeans as a laid-back, cool "fashion" statement. They were a little big so I needed to wear double socks plus shoe insoles for extra comfort and support for the kind of walking I had to do.

I have been looking for a pair of cute grey boots that are affordable. I broke my leg and shattered my ankle two years ago so I have trouble finding shoes that don't hurt my feet and ankle. I have to say these are the most comfortable boots I have ever purchased. I am a very pleased customer.Buy Cobb Hill Women's Belinda Boot Now
I wanted a pair of comfortable boots to wear when we go to Europe in a few weeks, so a month ago I started a serious search for the perfect pair of boots. Finding comfortable shoes is no easy task for me because I have a narrow heel, slightly wide toes and a very high arch. Usually if shoes are comfortable around my toes they are way too wide in the heel.Since it was the end of the winter season most stores had only a small selection of fashion boots in stock which didn't work since I was looking for a good walking boot. So, over the course of several weeks (and countless hours of searching and reading reviews) I ordered 15 pairs of boots including Ecco, Merrell, Keen, Earth, Arcopedico, etc. Out of them all these Cobb Hill boots were the only pair comfortable for me and I was really surprised at the great arch support. I pretty much always wear a 7.5, but in these boots I needed an 8. They are slightly loose in the heel so I tried 2 pairs of socks (too tight in the toes) and a 1/2 size smaller (too small). I finally discovered Thorlo Women's Thick Cushion Hiking Sock here on Amazon. They are padded in the heel but not all over and now these boots are insanely comfortable.
The first time I wore them with the Thorlo socks I was on my feet for 8 hours and they were very comfortable. I'm thrilled to have found these boots and I highly recommend them!

I wanted a comfy boot for the long walk to the train station that would keep my feet toasty without suffocating them. I have runner's calves, so I can't ever find long boot shafts that fit. These look just as elegant under classic slacks as they do with jeans. They feel like my kitchen clogs--so comfortable for all-day wear. But they didn't tolerate even a month of Chicago winter. They're stained from the salt after just 1 month, so I'd recommend rubbing them down with a protectant of some sort. Also, a front snap fell off right after a weekend of travel to the NE during a big snowstorm there. I'm sure all of these things are fixable by a good cobbler, which I'll do because I love the comfort so much, but I just wanted to inform others of some of its wear-and-tear and how to prevent it. True-to-size fit (I normally wear 8B in dress shoes and got an 8M).This is my second pair of Cobb Hill boots this year, the first pair, Cobb Hill Women's Simone Leather Boots were so reasonably priced and amazingly comfortable that I decided to go for a short boot in the brown color. They are awesome! As some other's have said, the leather quality seems thin, they are sort of sueded, not a thick and sturdy leather, but for my purposes these are perfect. Enjoy!
