I have had them about a month and these boots are so much better than my other ones. I wanted the side zip for easy access and the composite toe was a necessity for my job on a ship. The tongue is extra cushy for some reason but I have adjusted to it just fine. Not sure yet what to do with all of the strings I have left over once I have tied them but for now they just get tucked back in around the tongue. I have only shined the boots twice and so far they shine up fine not like a mirror or anything but shine up fine.
