I give 5 stars to these boots because they cover many areas.

They are super comfortable, the leather is thick while the style can still be a bit dressy. They are cool without being heavy or bulky. I walked around New York City all day first time I wore them without any blisters, no break down except that I did some squats at home before leaving to soften them a bit. They are true to size and they will hold up well in the city. Best lace up boots I have seen and tried around, Rockport bettered their classic lace up, love the Adiprene on sole, safe and strong beautiful boots; being water proof, they rock! one thing I need to say is that because they are made of leather I wouldn't buy anymore preferring vegan alternatives that use no animal suffering and killing.

After months of checking these boots out online and trying to make a decision on purchasing them, I bought them last week. They arrived today and I am in love with them. The leather is soft and flexible and, after putting them on, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that no breaking in will be needed. They run true to size and while I almost wish I had ordered a size up to allow for thicker socks, I'm sure they will stretch to accommodate. I'm VERY satisfied with my purchase and would recommend these boots to anyone who is considering buying them!!!!

These boots are darker brown in person but still a nice color. They are a little stiff out of the box but seem to mold to your foot after a little walking around. Wish they had more arch support. Have not been out in the rain/snow yet to see if they are waterproof, sure that will come soon enough here in the Northeast!

After ordering and returning several other pairs of boots I ordered these--I love these boots! They are so comfortable--great looking--great fit and support but not heavy at all. I can't say enough good things about them. I've been looking for a good sturdy and stylish pair of boots forever and I've finally found them. They definitely worth the price.

I love these boots the price is well worth it as I am certain I will have them forever. I like the tie up the leg for the COLD weather here in NYC. I also loved the wooden heal. It is solid wood to help you smash ice when you walk so that you don't trip. My other cheap boots have rubber soles and I slip and could break my ankle with them so the solid wood heel is very appreciated. The leather is very high quality and it is a BEAUTIFUL boot. I am just so happy with my purchase its definately worth every penny because you wil have these for the rest of your life!!
