Right out of the box, these Bogs were amazing. I purchased the green Tall Plimsoll Bogs. They have a look of vintage about them, as I had similar looking rain boots as a kid. I read many reviews before I placed my order, and I did size up the 1/2 size as many suggested. I wear a pretty true 7 1/2 and ordered the 8. They fit perfectly! Nice and snug without being "tight". They just hug your feet so you don't get that sloshing and slopping around that most boots in this catagory usually have. I liked this style over some of the others, as the foot area is much sleeker than the really bulky other models. I unpacked them, and went right out to the barn and did horse chores in February IOWA weather (that spells damned cold). I was delighted! Now my feet don't get cold, nor wet, and they hose off clean after walking through muckity muck in the barnyard. They are cute, sweet, warm, and totally serve an important purpose. Most other boots are either one or the other. The Plimsolls have a nice ruggedness without all of the bulk. Worth every penny, and an extra sweet deal on sale! Get a pair, you'll love them!

These do run a little small, which is PERFECT for us "half sizers" I have always loved the Classic High Bogs, but the fit wasn't perfect. I wear a solid 8.5 in every brand. The Classics in an 8 are too small, so I have always bought a 9 which were always quite roomy. The 9 in these is totally perfect on my 8.5 foot, I am thrilled!! If you are a whole size you may want to size up in this style since it does run a little small. If you are a half size, these are perfect for you!! Just order the next whole size up ;-)

I got these boots for everyday winter walking. they are fantastic, they keep my feet so warm, and dry. they are good up until -40, but i think they will do better then that if you wear a thick sock. i was walking outside the other day in -44 weather and the only thing that kept warm were my feet. excellent boots.

I am a size 9 wide, I ordered a 10 so I could just slip them on and off quickly when I stop by the barn after work, they are snug. I won't be able to wear socks, but I appreciate the affordable price for good seamless muck boots. With my wide feet I would have ordered a 10.5

Purchased these boots to take on a fishing trip to keep dry getting into and out of the boat or for bank fishing. They were fabulous! The first boots I've ever owned that were comfortable to stand and walk in. Already planning to get a pair in the low or mid-height style for our typical damp Pacific Northwest winter.
