These boots are great. I receive tons of compliments on them. I just got back from Italy where everyone, I mean everyone was wearing low heeled boots with skinny jeans or pants tucked in. I looked in Italy and couldn't find any that I really liked for the price. When I arrived home I searched and found these boots. My calves are only 14.5 inches at the widest part so they are a bit loose around the calf even with skinny jeans on. These boots are easy to get on and off in the airport too! these boots are just like the picture...same color and same rough look. shaft has a soft plush lining that feels great against your calf...probably works best for sm-med calfs though. exterior leather is tough, as in durable, yet has a soft worn-in feel...a perfect combination. they should hold up for quite some time. stitching is quality and heel looks like wood though is not. it has low to average arch support...nothing great, but there is something at least. toe is snug even with narrow feet, but within a few hours, it stretched gently and took on the shape of my foot. perfect boot as far as I can tell...really love them!Read Best Reviews of Jessica Simpson Women's Botta Knee-High Boot Here
These boots are so comfortabe. I am 5"3" w/ 14.5" calves. They come up to the bottom of my knees. I purchased the smokey brown color in a size 8 and they look much better in person than in the picture. They are rustic looking and fit true to size. The shipping was also really fast. I ordered them Thursday morning and got them the following day (friday) at 2pm. I was able to wear them all day running after my 3 yr old and 1 yr old w/o any problems. I think they are a little loose at the top but its not a big deal for me. If needed I can take them to my shoe repair store and have them taken in. These boots are very cute, but they are not my style. The package arrived in a timely manner, but when I opened the box there was a white scratch on one of the boots. It isn't noticeable though. I believe I might have ordered the wrong size because the boot shaft was a little too tight. The buckle on the side is a reasonable size, not obnoxiously huge that it takes away from the rest of the boot. The height of the boot was also accurate. The top of the boot shaft reached the bottom of my knee, and I am 4'11". Other than the boot not being my particular style, It is an awesome boot.

This shoe is a good fit and is suede in texture. When worn, the shaft widens horizontally and does not have silhouette effect of around the whole leg.It is not difficult to walk in however for some who don't like too much height, they may disagree. If the shaft of this bootie was longer, I'd probably be more impressed. I like the shoes because of the appearance, but it is uncomfortable. And I find the shoes of GUESS are almost uncomfortable. I love these boots, LOVE LOVE LOVE them! I bought these boots in black last winter and couldn't believe how fantastic they were. They are incredibly comfortable, they go with everything from pants to jeans to leggings to skirts, etc., and they are durable. I absolutely love the look and style of the boot! It is true to size for the foot part as i normally wear an 8 1/2 or 9 and i bought a 9, but I have mildly large calves so when it says its a "wide shaft boot" i was very happy. However, while I can FORCE them up around my bare calves I am afraid I will not be able to wear skinny jeans or even leggings or hose with them, and that is disappointing seeing as how that is mainly the reason I bought them. I would recommend this boot for style and true fit, however, I would measure your calf and make sure the circumference will be "wide" enough for you, esp if you plan on wearing them over any type of leggings. These boots, zip on the side, are not wide shaft as they are described. The fit is actually average to the small side. I thought they would be pull on boots. The problem with ordering online is you never know what you are going to get. I am an average size woman a size 12. This is a really nice boot, well made with a great, rich color (medium brown). Unfortunately, I am 5'1" and the top of the boot hit too high on my leg and it was awkward when bending my knee. I really, really wanted to keep this as I loved the color and the comfort (and it's waterproof!!!) and considered altering it to make it shorter, but that would not have been possible due to the side zipper. I thought it fit TTS. These are beautiful boots. The leather has a great feel. They are a little tight on my caves but they stretch well. My only problem is that there is no insoles at ALL in the boots. I can even see the screws where the heel is attached inside the foot of the shoe. It specifically says "Anti-fatigue removable footbed provides all-day comfort and support". Well it is missing in my boots completely, and without them the boots kill my feet. I am assuming that the boot might have been returned to amazon and whomever bought the boots "kept" the insoles, but it would have been NICE for amazon to let me know this at my purchase! I don't know how to contact Amazon and let them know this. I just got these today and I LOVE them! I read alot about these boots before I ordered them. I read that the shaft was tight, but I also saw that they have a flexible gored panel on the back of the boot. Took a chance and went for it. I normally wear an 8.5 or 9 in most shoes, but I ordered a 9.5 wide, because I read that they are tight. They fit perfect in the foot area. I have large, athletic calves 17" at the widest point, and I broke out into a sweat zipping these puppies up, but I did it! Today we had 2-3 inches of snow that melted and it's been raining ALL day long, so I decided to test the waterproof, and after a trip to the store walking through puddles that would have soaked any of my non waterproof shoes, my feet are dry! And the leather is starting to conform and stretch already. The shock absorbing heel is awesome, unlike any other heel I have ever walked in! And my toes are not all smashed together, which happens to me in almost every other heel I've worn! Bottom line, don't be too discouraged by the tight shaft, it will stretch. I can already tell these will be my favorite boots!

These do run a little small, which is PERFECT for us "half sizers" I have always loved the Classic High Bogs, but the fit wasn't perfect. I wear a solid 8.5 in every brand. The Classics in an 8 are too small, so I have always bought a 9 which were always quite roomy. The 9 in these is totally perfect on my 8.5 foot, I am thrilled!!
