I have owned these boots in the brown/beige for 1 year exactly. The 1 year warranty had just expired when the zipper broke, for the price point and the usage i got out of the boot i was really disappointed and quite upset. Various emails to Bare traps, never once have they responded..i simply wanted to know if they had a listing of authorized dealer who did repairs to the boots..the shoe maker told me i should just buy another pair of boots. I invested the money in these hoping to not have to buy boots for at least 2-3 years. I only wear these in the winter. Winters in NYC are brutal at times, I made due with them although they ran big and i bought them true to size, i wish i had know this before i purchased..so i am writing to share that they start out snug, but do give quite a bit, too thick a sock and its uncomfortable to walk, so go down 1/2 size and remember the zipper could give if you feel the slightest hesitation, thats a sign its on its way out.
