It is a very rugged shoe too clunky and big for me and would find it difficult to walk long distances in and therefore am returnng it. This is not to say that a larger person with a bigger foot may find the boot ok. I am size 7 and purchased one size up as suggested. It seems that the fleece lining would keep ones feet warm.

These are to replace my BearPaw Alyssia boots — which I love . . . they have kept my feet warm and cozy

BUT the sole's have not kept up well. I have been filling holes with Shoe Goo for years to extent their life.

I needed something with a sturdier sole that would hold up to rocky,muddy, slushy weather

and keep my feet warm and these are GREAT! and the price is great too!
