I bought these in brown and went back for the black. I wore them to a walking field trip and even fell and I believe they saved my ankle from getting hurt. Could not help with the knees when fell (am 56) but great on my feet. Brand new and neve a blister or problem. I do ware earth when not wearing heels. I LOVE earth shoes/boots/sandles. My feet stayed really warm and did not get over hot. Have about 20 pair.

I live in snow country and can only wear Kalso Earth brand due to Morton's Neuroma (foot pain), so when I decided to buy some boots, I had to do some researching. I walk a lot and my calves are big, so most boots are out...I had the company measure the shaft length and the circumference inside to determine if it'd fit. They sent them out and I was so delighted when I got them! Their wrap around style made them a comfortable fit. I've had them for two years now and just ordered another pair in black and another pair to stash away for when my brown ones are worn out...can't take a chance on their being discontinued in the meantime!

They could be a little warmer, but if I wear wool socks with them, it makes them just right for the snow. I was also a little concerned with the tread...I have a steep incline on part of my walk and this doesn't have a deep tread, but I've found the stability of the design lends to not having a slippage problem...I haven't fallen in them yet!

I ordered the brown. When opening the box, the first thing that I noticed was the quality of the leather. Nice, thick boot leather. Pliable and soft. This is a substantial boot. When putting it on, even before walking, the arch support is evident.

I am in my mid 60's with toe problems, knee problems and back problems. I have been searching for shoes that would help and not aggravate my problems. After reading up on these Earth shoes, I decided to try them. I have tried other brands that did not work.

I put them on with a regular boot sock and walked up and down the hall. They felt comfortable and the arch support is great. I normally wear a 7 1/2 and I have a narrow foot. Even thou these are medium, they felt snug enough. My heel did not slip. The toe area is wide enough for the toes without looking too wide. I have returned shoes that made me feel and look like I was wearing the shoe box on my foot. That is a problem for people with narrow feet.

I wore them the rest of the day. Felt great right out of the box. No break-in period required. I waited for over a week before writing the review because sometimes it takes a few days for the knee to be bothered enough to start hurting. I wore them all day every day for a week. Wonderful!

I ordered a black pair and wore them for a couple of days to make sure that I got the same results. Still wonderful.

A really nice, sturdy boot, soft pliable leather, comfortable on the foot. Easy on the joints. No complaints.
