This product runs very large, and I was also disappointed in the color, its actually grey, and the heel is brown. I even had to go back to my order and see if i really ordered grey by mistake.

I bought these boots in the gray/brownish color at marshalls for 20 dollars. They are the best boots i have ever owned for way less money. I am 5'9 and they are very tall unlike most boots. They don't bunch up at the ankle as much as other boots. i ordered them in black for 80 dollars because i love how comfortable they are. The only bad thing is they are kind of wide for a slim leg but they don't look bad even though the top is not tight to my leg.

Yes, the color of this boot is a bit different. It is a brown but has gray undertones mixed in with it....kind of a distressed look. As far as the sizing goes I'm always a size 7 and found the 7 fit me just fine, and I did have some troubles with other boots I purchased online being too small, but no problems with this boot! This is a great trendy boot for a great price! Very happy with it!

I have very big calfs and hard for me to find boots that fit. Even though these are a little tight I have hopes that they will stretch a little.

I am quite possibly addicted to boots, I have 10 pairs all at different price points. These Volatile Clyde boots can't be beat. Although they come at a bargain price, they do not look cheap, in fact quite nice looking. I have a similar style boot that cost 4x more and I like these just as much. In regards to the shaft height, I am barely five feet and have been wearing them quite comfortably, possibly due to the supple nature of the material. In addition they offer great traction. Only gave them four stars because I don't know how they will fare walking through puddles yet, but I am very happy with this purchase.
