I actually have two pair of Volatile's Denver boots. The brown ones I bought at the end of October are so comfortable, I had to have a black pair too. "Comfortable" to me means that not only do they fit well when you first put them on, but you can pound the pavement for hours at a time without sitting much and not be miserable with foot and/or back pain by the end of your outting. Both colors are quite a bit lighter than anticipated when they arrive, but each time they are worn, the color seems to morph darker -presumably from contact with skin and other environmental factors. The higher heel makes them look sexier than regular western-style (cowboy) boots, and they are real head-turners with jeans, leggings, or skirts. Also, even with frequent wear, I have not been disappointed with the durability so far, and I plan to order another style of Volatile boots soon.

Just got these boots before a trip. I got LOTS of complements on them. They look more expensive than they are. I was able to walk around for hours in these babies. That's not to say that my feet didn't ache after that but they were a bit more comfortable than my other heels. The only criticism I have is that they did run a bit big. I ordered a 7.5, because that's what I normally wear, and I could have definitely gone down half a size. I also wish the leg opening was a little smaller. A little too wide for my taste. I love the height of the boot. Because I'm short, I have to be careful not to have a boot that hits my leg too high. But this leaves just the right amount of leg showing. Looks adorable with leggings, skinny jeans and skirts! Overall I'm very happy!

These boots are very stylish and comfortable, which is exactly what I was looking for, however the Tan is much lighter in person than in the picture. I probably would have ordered the darker brown color had I known they would be so much lighter. They also scruff very very easily. I wore them once and they toe is already scruffed up. Would this prevent me from buying them again? probably not, because like I said, the style and comfort level are what I was looking for.
