I really wanted these to be perfect but they fell a little short so I sent them back. Firstly, they are WATERPROOF. Huge plus. And they don't look it. In terms of sizing, I think they are true to size, but they run a little narrow in the foot. I normally wear a B width, and occassionally a wide in running shoes and hiking boots. My advice is if you are between widths, go for the wide. The material felt nice and it was well made. The shaft fit my calf well oweing to the ample stretch, and my calves are on the athletic side. I don't think I could have tucked my jeans into them though.

Now for the downsides. First, the leather wasn't very supple perhaps because it had to be treated to be waterproof. Despite the slight stiffness, it still bunched around my ankle. This was the biggest letdown. It's kind of one of my pet peeves. The bunching made them look less sleek/elegant and more casual and I really wanted these to be more fitted at the ankle. All in all a very good quality and nice looking boot though. If you're looking for similar type waterproof boots and these don't work for you, try the Santana or La Canadienne brands.

OK, I bought these boots for a rainy trip to New York. I wanted something that I could walk all day in and also where at night with skinny jeans and dresses. These shoes far exceeded my expectations. Incredibly comfortable and the wedge gave just enough lift to still be highly walkable and dressy at the same time. A great purchase. Fit true to size. I ordered a 1/2 size up so I could wear wool socks with it. Perfect

These suede boots are even nicer in person. And they fit over my muscular calfs. I did end up exchanging for the wider width because I like to wear thicker socks with boots in winter. And they fit perfectly now. They're also very comfortable. And light. Wore them to the office all day and didn't feel like I was wearing boots.

I order this boot in a size 7, but it was tight and I exchanged it for a 7 1/2 and it fits great and i can wear stocks with it. The shaft of the boots could be taller but i still like it.
