I bought these boots b/c they boast a smaller calf opening. My calves are 13.5" at the widest part and generally most knee high boots are too wide. These boots do indeed fit smaller than the average boot and I have about an inch gap inside the shaft. So if you are looking for boots that fit smaller calves these are for you. These boots look much more expensive than they are and are well made.

My only complaint is that there isn't much cushion in the footbed.

I agree with other reviewers in terms of the top part of the boot that covers the thigh. I was a bit apprehensive about ordering an extra wide size since I have never had to order that way. But thanks to the reviews I decided to go ahead and it was the best decision. My calf would definitely not have fit a regular size. The extra wide is a bit snug, particularly as the zipper comes closer up to the top, but it is not too much to feel uncomfortable. This is the main reason why I gave a 3 instead of a 4 star rating. Otherwise the boot is very pretty and I like the femenine design with the buttons on top. The delivery was fast and I was very pleased with the seller's efficiency. Thank you!!

This boots are beautiful, but... I found them in a search in Amazon for Wide calf or wide shaft, this are definitely NOT for me. I have a wide calf and this did not fit me at all, thats the reason I gave 3 stars, but if you are not a wide calf but a regular, this will suit you great. The boots are great quality, the color is true to the picture, the height is very comfortable, looks stylish, I mean, this is a beautiful boot just not for my legs unfortunately. I suggest Amazon do not show them in that category, otherwise great product.

If you are looking for a great pair of fashion boots, don't be afraid to check these out. I was looking for a suede-like boot to wear with a couple of faux suede riding skirts that I have. These fit the bill perfectly! They are true to size lengthwise, I ordered my normal 8.5 and I have more than enough room. I did choose the wide option over my normal medium and they are very roomy. I have a calf between 14.5 15 and these boots just manage to zip up, I would not be able to wear leggings, skinny jeans, etc tucked into them. They will work perfectly with tights and a skirt, and they were a fantastic price, so I'm very happy.

These are a great pair of boots for its price. Its simple yet stylish. A type of boot that wouldn't easily be out of season, I was very careful in purchasing though since I want to make sure they will fit me. According to product description, I can fit into a regular. However, I went ahead and ordered the wide calf since they were cheaper. I thought, I needed the space so I could wear jeans with it too. But then, when I tried them on.. The wide was a perfect fit to my calves. I didnt have the extra space as I expected. I could still wear jeans with them but it will be too tight on me already.

I guess, they run too narrow. but other than that, I love them. So I suggest you guys just go witha size higher to make sure.
