I bought this boot for $35 dollars, a size eleven at a discounter off-line. It fit my size 9 1/2 foot great, with enough room for socks. It is a very nice looking boot, but get a size larger (at least).

The suede material, when it rubs against pants hems, takes on quite unappealing shades and hues, much more than regular suede. Now that I am looking at the photo carefully I can actually see the striations (for want of a better word to describe the problem); only in person these are somewhat more exaggerated. I am guessing this is due to the waterproofing. I hope so at least, because if these boots don't hold up well on a rainy day then I will really be unhappy.The pair that I received had some cosmetic damage on them scuffing on the top of the front part of the right one, and scuffing on the back of both boots. So do inspect them carefully on receipt. If I hadn't missed the return deadline, I would have returned the pair. On the plus side, the boots are comfortable and light weight, with a tiny bit of arch support.
I have two other pairs of Joan and David boots in leather from 3-4 years ago that I still wear even though they are much the worse for wear. These are actually a more stylish design, with a slightly tapered toe which I like. Makes them more feminine. Heel height is perfect.
