These boots have many great attributes beginning with comfort that exceeded my expectations. Although the heel is not as high as I would have liked, it is so comfortable and stylish that I couldn't let that influence my purchase. I was looking for a "tall" boot for this season and this is perfect. I am 5'1" and the front goes to the top of my knee and the back of the boot goes right into the bend. So when driving it doesn't interfere at all. They are sophisticated with a bit of a "western" flair but very subdued. They are outstanding in every aspect; the fine leather, detailed stitching and fit. If you are unsure, take a chance because you won't be disappointed.

LOVE these boots....so cool! And the black is awesome....kind of a muted black if that makes sense.

My only gripe is that I am a true size 7...and found them slightly big...but mainly they were really long....like skis.

I am 5' 2" and petite so maybe it was just because of my proportions. I returned them for a 6.5 and they seem better. Almost thinking I could get away with a size 6 but afraid the width then might be a problem.

Overall, a stunning, statement-making pair of western boots!

These boots are fabulous. The quality is clear the moment you see them the leather is very soft and very high quality. Feels nicer than any other boots I've ever owned. They are exactly as pictured the black is not dark black, definitely a softer weathered black, but I love the color.

I think these are really made for tall girls. I am 5'8 and these boots hit me perfectly the back side is below the knee, the front side is above the knee. I think if you were much shorter than I am you would have problems when where the boots hit you on your legs.

I loved these boots the moment I saw them. Boot shaft is a bit tight so for anyone who doesn't have skinny stick legs you may have the same heart sinking problem that I did when I first tried them on. I don't have unusually large calves, but they are muscular. I looked online for tips on how to safely aid in improving the fit/stretching cowboy boots. One tip that I used was to wear the boots around the house to wear in, warm the leather to stretch and mold to the shape of your leg. This seems to have helped. If there is still a slight issue then I will take them to a professional cobbler. There are odd tips such as using vinegar, warm water, etc to stretch the leather, but I'd rather have a professional with the skills and tools to do the job right.m

Needless to say, these boots are even more beautiful in person. The quality in the stitching, the leather, heel, etc are exceptionally good. The price is definitely worth the investment. I was scared, because these are my first real cowboy boots! Definitely happy with my choice, and happy with how quickly I received my order. I wrote them with a question regarding my boots/ fit, and they wrote back by the next day.

These boots put a much needed smile on my face post Hurricane Sandy.

I love these boots. They are true to size and fit the calf well. I am 5'6 and the front covers my knee and the back of the boot hits the perfect spot on my leg for comfort. I highly recommend these boots. I ordered the black ones and I am hoping for the brown ones for Christmas.
